Spelling Bee
Yes! I’m in the 2008 Oakhill Day School 5th Grade Spelling Bee! With Alex and Patrick. Hopefully I don’t mess up like I did 3rd grade where I got 2nd because I misspelled LENGTH L-E-N-G-T-H!!! Wow.

CONGRATULATIONS! This family is full of winners… Glad you can spell. Something I sure can’t do very well. Thank goodness for spell check on the computer. Too bad you didn’t get to go on for the National spelling bee championship. Bet you could have made it. Congratulations again. We are very proud of you.

What Calvin failed to blog was that he won the Oakhill 5th-grade spelling bee this year and got a nice trophy for it. Come on, Calvin, people are watching here…. :-)
