Last night Gladstone was hit by some strong storms yet again. For being a small town, I think it gets more than its share of weather attention.

Calvin’s school took some significant damage this time. I took a few pictures which can be viewed by clicking the thumbnail below.

The damage is bad enough that it was unknown how the kids would finish their school year. Thankfully, the church Terry attends, Antioch Bible Baptist, stepped forward. It only took half a day after the damage occurred, and now things have been arranged to use the church for the rest of the school year. It’s very convenient since it’s essentially just across the street and the church has a lot of room. Kudos to the church and Oakhill Board for getting this done.

Hopefully between the insurance and the volunteers (Terry is over there right now), things can be put back better than ever for next year.
