On the bottom of your PSP there’s a little sticker with a barcode and some numbers on it. At least there’s supposed to be. Mine fell off a while back. I didn’t give it a second thought until I tried to sign up for a Sony PSP game beta test — and they required that barcoded number.

If you’re in the same boat, here’s how to figure out the number. First dig under your battery and find the serial number. The barcode number is 11 digits long: “PP1” + serial number + “0” =⇒ PP1SerialNumber0.
